Zoë Silverman is a technology and digital specialist based in Boulder, Colorado USA. Coming from a background in Politics and Computer Science, Zoë is passionate about using technology to advance social justice, whether that be on a local, national, or international scale. Working with non-profits, non-governmental organizations, and civil society organizations, Zoë specifically specializes in digital work for progressive causes. Their portfolio includes digital work for environmental and racial justice causes. Additionally, Zoë specializes in data analysis and working to make data easily understood through interactive dashboards and visualizations. Along with a commitment to progressive social work, Zoë tries to ensure accessibility across digital spaces, whether that includes visual accessibility for color-blind and visually impaired people, or working to ensure digital content is able to be viewed by those with lower internet bandwidths. Currently, Zoë is working as the Technology Manager for the international project the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative, working towards a global just transition away from fossil fuels.
